Anisa joined Nutmeg in order to give back to the community as well as getting involved in volunteering and gain experience. She also wanted to help others see the benefits of being part of something postive and is keen to inspire more young people to take an active role in the community. Her involvement with Nutmeg has allowed her to gain vital social skills and enabled her to act as a mentor to other young people. Anisa believes that Nutmeg is all about thinking positive, being able to communicate effectively and giving back to the community no matter what age or colour.
