Deeqa became involved because she wanted to experience making a difference to the youths of today and inspire the whole community. She also wanted to increase her confidence in being able to communicate and understand individual from different backgrounds. Deeqa believes that Nutmeg is all about positive change within our generation and is honoured to be a part of the movement. She feels that Nutmeg empowers young individuals to always believe in their abilities and encourages them to work hard to make their dreams come true.
