Nicola joined the Nutmeg Community in August 2009 as a result of attending one of our “Grab Ur Mic” workshops. Her drive for wanting to celebrate positive young people has led Nicola to use the public speaking skills she gained to confidently speak at other Nutmeg workshops and she has even hosted a “Grab Ur Mic” Award Showcase. Nicola has gone on to use her voice to represent the Nutmeg Community at social events and to help destroy the negatives stereotypes that have been placed on her generation.
